Bio Mariel Hamn

:I graduate from Watkins School of Art, Design & Film December 2009 with a degree in Editing.  I am very comfortable with Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro.  I am currently working on becoming more affluent in Avid Media Composer.  I have also shot one film, “Bajo Siete Llaves” (Under Lock & Key) on 16mm film on an Arriflex.  It was some of the hardest and most rewarding work I’ve ever done.  The film has been accepted into the Sann Antonio Film Festival for this year.  Aside from my studies, I enjoy cooking, hiking, canoeing, and crocheting.  I have a cat named Nacho and a small herb garden.  I was raised in Cunningham Tennessee on a blueberry and Christmas tree farm.  I am in film school because I enjoy challenging work and always learn something new during a project.
