August 13th, 2009Marinara Plain or Spicy Pasta Makes a Hit!
August 12th, 2009August 15,
To all our friends thank you for your support at the Tomato festival in East Nashville.
I made five big restaurant trays of my pasta dish with heirloom tomatoes, tomato pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes with cheese and your choice of Nonna’s Gourmet Marinara or Spicy Sauce. Not a piece left for us to take home, not even the Chianti brownies.
We had customer come to our booth telling us we were the talk of the festival, they had great dishes their for you to taste and purchase but we seemed to have a strong present. Customer purchased the pasta dish then came back and bought jars of the sauces, or jelly sometimes both. It was hot, but we had a great time looking forward to doing it again next year. Thank you for inviting us enjoyed the day! I will post the recipe on line when I get back from vacation, need rest from all that cooking!
